General Support FAQs

The device will not save photos from Felt Board to my photo library. What happened?
In iOS 6 a new privacy setting was added that controls whether or not an app has permission to access your photo library. The first time you launch Felt Board in iOS 6, a pop up will ask for permission to access your photo library. If you select “yes”, then the camera in Felt Board will work properly. If “no” is selected, photos from Felt Board will not be sent to the photo library regardless of whether or not the camera is turned on. This can be confusing, especially if you do not remember seeing the initial privacy pop-up question.

To enable the photos to be saved after selecting “no” to that initial permissions question: You will need to go into settings on your device and look for Privacy (will be right below Brightness & wallpaper and Picture Frame). In Privacy, select Photos and make sure Felt Board is switched to “on”.

Why don’t I hear any sound on my iPhone or iPad when the volume is turned all the way up?
This is a common support question for iOS devices. Sometimes the mute switch on the side of the device is set to the off position so that you will not hear any sound even if the volume looks like it should be working. If you are not hearing sound while using an iOS app, first check to see if the device is muted.

Here is a helpful blog post on this issue: Using the iPad’s side switch settings to bring back the sound in your app.

My app was working, but now it is not working properly or behaving strangely.
Apple offers a series of suggestions for troubleshooting applications purchased from the App Store including: Updating device software, checking for app updates, restarting the application (by shutting it down completely), restarting the device, and if needed, deleting and re-installing the app. If these troubleshooting steps do not solve the problem, please do not hesitate to contact the developer directly.

Felt Board FAQs

Is Felt Board only available on iPad?
Felt Board first launched for the iPad and it is now also available for NOOK on the Barnes & Noble NOOK app store and for Android through the Amazon App Store. It has been specifically tested for use on the Kindle Fire. Note that it is available only for tablet sized devices (7 inches and greater) because there are may small pieces in the app that may be difficult to use on a smaller device. If you have questions or feedback regarding using the app on your specific device, please feel free to get in touch with us.
How do I use the glue?
The glue is only used to attach clothing to people so they can move around the screen better. Drag a drop of glue from the bottle to a person and all layers will lock into place.
What do I do if I have extra drops of glue left on my picture?
Extra glue drops should not appear in your photo. You may get rid of them by dragging them onto a person, or into a recycle bin.
Can the glue only be used for people?
Right now, yes. But we welcome your comments and suggestions. Let us know what you think.
Where does the picture go when I click on the camera?
Pictures are saved in your device’s photo library and should appear in photo stream if it is enabled.

Note: in iOS 6, you must give permission for the app to access your photo library in order for the camera to work. If you are asked (upon launching the app) for permission to access the photo library, say “yes”. Otherwise, you will need to go into your device Settings, look for “Privacy”, Select “Photos” and turn photos for Felt Board “on”.

Can I print pictures from Felt Board?
The best way to print a picture from Felt Board is to send it to the photo library (by clicking on the camera icon) and print the way you would print a photo from your iPad. If you use photo stream to send pictures to your computer, then you can print directly from iPhoto.
Can the camera be turned off so no pictures are sent to my photo library?
Yes. On the information (?) page, there is a camera icon that will enable or disable the camera feature.

iBaby Buttons FAQs

How do I make my own buttons?
Select the customize tab from the app’s home page or DOUBLE tap with TWO fingers from within the game to re-enter the settings. Select “custom buttons” and then select the plus sign in the top right corner of the screen.
Is there a way to disable the buttons that came with the app so I only see my own buttons?
Yes. Select “standard buttons” from within the settings mode. You can check or un-check each button individually or use the enable all / disable all button on the top right of the screen to turn them all off or on.
How do I change the backgrounds?
A double finger swipe (drag index and pointer finger horizontally across the screen) is used to change the backgrounds. This makes background changes more deliberate instead of accidental when a little one tries to make a button.
