Moms With Apps Know What's Inside Program
Moms With Apps Know What’s Inside Program Launches Today
We are really excited to take part as founding members in the launch of the Moms With Apps Know What’s Inside Program for family-friendly app developers. The goal of the program is to promote and establish industry standards and best practice guidelines in the creation of children’s apps.
To participate, developers pledge to comply with COPPA and all other applicable laws and to display clear privacy policies on websites and within app store descriptions disclosing analytics and data collection, in app purchases, and other relevant information that parents will need to make an informed decision before buying an app.
The program was developed by Moms With Apps, which is the largest community of family friendly app developers in the world, and a part of the Association for Competitive Technology’s ACT 4 Apps Initiative. ACT 4 Apps is supported by many of the largest names in mobile development including Apple, AT&T, Blackberry, Facebook, Microsoft, PayPal and Verizon.
