Felt Board - Mother Goose on the Loose is a nursery rhyme flannel board app designed for young children to use together with parents and caregivers. Children can move felt pieces, sing, and tap along with popular nursery rhymes and songs.
Based on the award-winning early literacy program by Dr. Betsy Diamant-Cohen, Mother Goose on the Loose, and developed by the creators of the original Felt Board app, Felt Board – Mother Goose on the Loose can be used by parents and children at home, in early childhood programs, and by librarians as a supplement to the Mother Goose on the Loose parent-toddler program.
Help Little Bo Peep find her lost sheep and dance them around the screen together in time to the music. Guide Jack and Jill up and down the hill and march with Grand Old Duke of York. Sound effect buttons like rhythm sticks, rattles and a rain stick are included for young children to interact with songs and rhymes as they are played.
Songs and rhymes include: Old Mother Goose, Goosey Goosey Gander, Jack and Jill, Jack Be Nimble, 2 Little Monkeys, 5 Fat Sausages, Humpty Dumpty, Little Bo Peep, Little Miss Muffet, Hickory Dickory Dock, Eency Weency Spider, Row Row Row Your Boat, and more.

Felt Board – Mother Goose on the Loose is an absolutely wonderful app for interaction between parent and child. There are 9 different nursery rhymes to choose from, but in each rhyme contains a lot of options for other rhymes, sounds, and songs. I like how you can start a rhyme on the iPad and then incorporate it into everyday routines. “Jack jumps over the candle stick”…can be morphed into “Bob be nimble and Bob be quick…we will go in this store and be out as quick” or anything that may come to your mind. This is a great app with a lot of possibilities, and I would surely recommend to snap it up now while it is free, so lucky to find this! All links to other apps by the developers are hidden with hold buttons.

Felt Board – Mother Goose on the Loose is a fantastic app for children. It is similar to the original app, but features characters from nursery rhymes plus rhymes, songs and musical instruments! Parents and their children can choose from characters from the tab on the left, and place them on the screen, or move them around as they would in their nursery rhyme. On the right side of the screen, there are buttons for accompanying music and musical instrument sounds. It is plus that you can play the musical instruments during the nursery rhymes and songs. This is wonderful app for parents to introduce to their children for working on speech, fine motor, object labels, and so much more. All links are secured and there are no IAPs.
